ERP Education

There are a number of resources available to MS Dynamics GP users to enhance your knowledge of your ERP product. Here is a partial list and directions to the resources.

Accolade's Books

Of course, we would not start a list like this without mentioning our books. Designed to help end users conduct business more efficiently, our books cover a variety of topics on several different software products. Click on Books in Our Library above to see what we have available.

And NEVER Overlook Your Dynamics Partner!

Your Dynamics Partner should always be your primary provider of support. They have been to your site, they know your business and how it works, and they know how you want to use your Dynamics products. Your Dynamics GP partner should always be your first level of support (after our books, of course Smile).

Conference Room Pilot-- Now Shipping!

This book is for ALL ERPS: NAV, GP, SL, AX, CRM, SAGE, Macola, etc.

This book is designed for firms that are going through any one of three different stages in their software upgrades: a full new ERP implementation, a major revision upgrade, and/or the installation of major new features or third party packages. All of these events, some in more detail than others, need testing before taking the firm live on the new configuration.

Conference Room Pilot consists of two parts: instructions on completing a Conference Room Pilot and forms to assist the team in defining the test and collecting the data. And, yes, the instructions assume a complete and detailed testing process.

Subscribe to the Accolade Newsletter

Accolade publishes a newsletter every other week. This free subscription newsletter covers news of the industry, provides free tips and tricks to make using Dynamics easier, and lists coming events of interest to you.

Each issue contains articles on current Dynamics events. These articles will keep you informed on events such as Convergence, user group activity, new product releases and changes, upgrade and enhancement releases, and much more.

Then we provide a couple of helpful tips on your selected software product. Each tip is general in nature but can help you better use your ERP product. Most of these tips are taken from our books and are samples of the information you can find inside their covers.

Subscribe to our newsletter by visiting the Free Stuff section of the Accolade Publications website. (If you are not permitted to subscribe, then you are already subscribed!) Your free copies will arrive in your e-mail starting in about a week. Make sure that any spam-blockers are set to allow transmissions from AccoladePublications.com so that you get these newsletters promptly.

Dynamics Forums

There are currently two forums supported by Microsoft for Dynamics users. Users can click on the links below and submit questions to a group of volunteer who will attempt to provide support. Keep in mind that the people responding are offering their time for free and are not paid by Microsoft to provide support.

Training Classes and Seminars

Training classes are available from a long list of Partners. ISV's frequently schedule seminars on their products. GPUG, NAVUG, AXUG, and the Solomon Users Group regularly hold seminars. Some of these are free, some have costs associated. Check out our Event Calendar as all training centers and seminar providers are encouraged to list their sessions here.

And if your firm holds any such events, contact Elizabeth Whaley to find out how to get your event listed. Listings are free from qualified firms.

GPUG Membership

GPUG, AXUG, NAVUG, and the Solomon User Group all provide peer support through weekly webinars, annual conventions, and many other activities. Consider a membership in one of these organizations. Their events are listed on our calendar.
