Books in the Works -- AX
Following the model of Accolade's Information Flow and Posting for GP, an Information Flow and Posting for AX is being compiled now.
This book maps the primary transactions in the core modules and identifies the flow of information, control, and dollars through the application. Flow charts show the tables updated for each transaction while T-Accounts show the GL transactions generated. Information is provided on the source of accounts helping diagnose posting issues.
Accolade plans to have this book complete for Convergence 2012 in Houston!
New Pricing for AX 2009 Retail
Microsoft has announced price increases on the Dynamics AX 2009 Retail software. Effective April 1, 2012, the new pricing will take effect for all new orders. Firms anticipating ordering this product should move quickly to take advantage of the current lower pricing.
These changes do NOT affect the DynamicsAX 2012 Retail software package. That software has already been priced according to the new licensing program. The change to the AX 2009 Retail software will also be accompanied by changes in the licensing to make it compliant with the 2012 product.
If you are a user of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Retail and think your firm might be affected by these changes, then you should contact your Microsoft Partner.
