Version 2010 Closeup -- Emails
One of the most significant new features of Version 2010 is the ability to send selected documents via email to selected customers or vendors. Individual customers or vendors can be flagged for email delivery of Sales Quotes, Orders, Fulfillment Orders, Invoices, Receivables documents, Purchase Orders, and or Vendor Remittances.
Each individual transaction document can be marked as eligable to be emailed and provided with a default template. Then, each individual customer can be selected for emailing vs printing of documents. The appropriate email addresses for customers or vendors are listed in the appropirate cards along with, if desired, unique templates per customer or vendor. Further, return emails can be directed to more than one individual in the firm. For example, the sales rep for a group of customers can receive all of the replies sent for Quotes and Order templates while the AR team can receive replies from Invoices.
The emails can be sent as simple text, PDF's attached to emails, HTML documents, or Word documents attached to emails. Word templates can be used to format the documents and provide different logos as appropriate.

Receivables Debit Memo
Receivables Credit Memo
Receivables Finance Charges
Standard Purchase Order
Blanket Purchase Order
Drop Ship Purchase Order
Drop Ship Blanket PO
